The route has now been finalised and is a 26.2 mile marathon distance route starting and finishing in Settle. After leaving Settle the circular route

The route involves various terrain from open moorland to limestone scars. There is even a short section on the banks of the
River Skirfare in Littondale, a short section on The Pennine Way and a couple of short sections of road walking.

Marie Curie Cancer Care
Marie Curie Cancer Care Nurses provide care to terminally ill patients in their own homes or in Marie Curie Cancer Care hospices, while offering
support to their families. It was founded in 1948 originally as the Marie Curie Memorial Foundation.
It was setup to preserve the name of the Hampstead-based Marie Curie Hospital, which was transferred to the NHS that year.
